Katie McDonald

You have a right to thrive.

It’s your birthright.

In fact, it’s your responsibility as a human being.
But what does it mean to truly thrive?
To me, and to the men and women with whom I work, it means eating foods that give you energy, vitality and mental clarity. But it also means having high standards for everything that you allow into your life — from the television shows you watch to the household items you buy to the people you choose to surround yourself with.
And it means showing up for yourself on a consistent basis, so that you can serve in the way that you were BORN to.

“Katie not only SAVED my life, she gave me BACK my life — new and improved!
“As of this date, I am off all steroids and only taking two medications for my Ulcerative Colitis. More importantly, I now have a much better understanding of my body and what it needs. I also have a much better view of what my future can and will hold for me, my family, and my life. From the bottom of my heart, I cannot thank Katie enough. In so many ways, she not only SAVED my life, she gave me BACK my life — only new and improved!”

Hello, I’m Katie McDonald — speaker, holistic health coach and raw food chef.

My mission is to help you hit the pause button on your life so that you can make more deliberate choices that honor who you really are.
And I help you embrace the simplest of habits on your journey towards better health as you rediscover what it means to feel your very best, whether that’s:
● eating a meal with chopsticks so that you connect with every bite,
● adding greens to your morning smoothie,
● saying “no” to other people’s demands, or
● setting boundaries around how much time you spend on social media.
Everybody’s different. And every body is different. What works for someone else won’t necessarily work for you. How you decide to change your life really depends on who you are, what’s important to you, and who you want to be.
I help you get clear on that so you can honor your present self and craft a more empowered vision of your future self, as you begin to make more deliberate choices, day by day, moment by moment.

“I lost over 50 pounds!
Katie taught me how to take control of my life. I now know how to nourish my body, mind and soul more than I ever did before. I’ve lost over 50 pounds and I love eating more than ever, because I now eat in a way that is an expression of self-love and an act of joy.”
John Batista

My road wasn’t always a straight one.

For a long time, I didn’t have a voice and I didn’t know how to be my own best advocate, so I buried myself with food.
Today, things are different, but that doesn’t mean I’m perfect. (Far from it, in fact.) But I do know what it takes to get back on track whenever I veer off my chosen path.
That’s what I do for you: Because you will veer. We all do. Which is why I help you define your unique path and where you want to be, and equip you with the right tools and enough confidence to find your way back, as quickly as possible, whenever life spins you in a circle.
If you’re ready to get started, book your 30-minute Strategy Session with me, today.

Since applying her knowledge of alternative health and plant-based nutrition to her life, Katie has been disease-free for close to a decade.
Katie began studying the benefits of a whole foods, plant-based diet over 25 years ago (before vegetarianism, veganism, and whole food were everyday terms). Trained at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City, she is also a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and a certified Bach Flower Remedy practitioner.
Katie serves on the Board of Trustees at the Center for Resilience and is a participant of Leadership Rhode Island 2016 class.
