Thought-provoking disruptions to challenge you to live differently
About the Video
Every “yes” is a no and every “no” is a yes.
When you say “yes” to something, the bottom line is you’re saying “no” to something else. And more often than not, that no is to us. No to our needs.
What do you need to say “no” to today?
It’s going to be very uncomfortable at first. And then, when you get into the groove, and you get some practice and some confidence with it you’re going to realize, “Oh my gosh, I feel so much more in control of my life.”
I encourage you to say “no” without an explanation. The fact is, when we give an explanation, we’re now open for input and negotiations that undermine the convictions of our no.
Be defiant because the world wants good girls and boys to say “yes” to the countless demands made on us. Let’s be good to ourselves and unapologetically say “no” when we mean no.
