Katie challenged me to not only be intentional about my food, but also about my life and where I would like it to go — even my spiritual life.

Do you have a complicated relationship with food? Maybe you’re eating to soothe your stresses. To distract yourself from an endless cycle of thoughts and worries. Or in a misguided attempt to re-energize yourself — with stimulants, sugar, alcohol and the like — to simply get you through the day.

I wasn’t surprised by the fact that I wasn’t looking at food in the right way. But I was surprised how fast things began to change. I quickly moved from using “manu-fractured” food to real food.

Deep down, you know you need to eat better, but you just don’t know where to begin.

Together we put together a plan to transform my diet. Katie took some of my fears into account around eating healthier — and approached my situation by gradually challenging me to try new things.

I now know how to nourish my body, mind and soul more than I ever did before. I’ve lost over 50 pounds, and I love eating more than ever. Because I now eat in a way that is an expression of self-love and an act of joy.
